Mama Annie had an incredible ability of knowing what to do, how to do it, and when to do it. Her wisdom and special talent for taking care of people were evident in everything she did. From a young age, I looked up to my grandmother as the ultimate role model. Mama Annie radiated power and strength and was a fountain of knowledge, wisdom, and love for our family and everyone who met her. Her compassionate nature and ability to make everyone feel valued and cared for left a lasting impact on all who knew her. Her spirit is embodied in the principles and mission of MAHHC.
